Job summary

Amcor is seeking new graduates to join its R&D initiatives, contributing to research, applications development, material enhancements and cost-out initiatives. Level I responsibilities cover applying capabilities across products and processes with guidance from senior staff.

Ideal candidates hold an undergraduate degree in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science or Polymer Science, with co-op experience and strong problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree required (Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Polymer Science preferred).
• Co-op and/or industry experience strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated ability in applying scientific methodology (Design of Experiment and Statistical Analysis) and project management tools.
• Curious nature with adaptable learning, communication and interpersonal savvy.

Responsibilities

• Support and contribute to programs delivering customer-valued solutions and profitable growth.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Operations and Quality to resolve technical challenges.
• Plan, execute and analyze production trials using DOE, Lean and statistical tools.
• Document and report work to protect Amcor's intellectual property and ensure alignment with processes.
