10Beauty in Burlington, MA is seeking a hands-on R&D Electromechanical Technician to build, test, and debug electronics powering our autonomous manicure robots. This on-site role offers diverse prototypes and direct collaboration with electrical, mechanical, and software engineers.

Qualifications

• Diploma or associate degree or some college coursework in electronics/electrical engineering technology.
• Hands-on electronics experience through work, school, or projects.
• Experience with surface mount soldering and rework.
• Ability to read schematics and PCB layouts for debugging.
• Experience with electrical testing using DMMs, scopes, and spectrum analyzers.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, rework, and repair prototype circuit boards, including surface mount soldering.
• Hand-assemble electrical and electro-mechanical components and subassemblies.
• Crimp wires and connectors.
• Read schematics and PCB layout files to trace circuits and track down faults.
• Perform electrical testing and measurements with engineers to validate designs and debug issues.
• Use multimeters, oscilloscopes, and spectrum analyzers to gather data and diagnose issues.
• Document test results and report findings for the team.
• Support engineers with basic schematic and layout updates.
