Job summary

ABB's R&D Early Career Program is a two-year rotational program in the US designed to build engineering and leadership capabilities. It includes four 6-month rotations across R&D teams, plus over 150 hours of training and capstone project work.

You will rotate across continuous improvement, R&D, new product development, and manufacturing support, starting with a July orientation. Onsite work and mentorship are provided to help you achieve your career goals.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a bachelor's degree engineering program with expected graduation between Dec 2026 and Jun 2027.
• Enjoy solving technical problems and developing products/solutions.
• Desire to learn from diverse experiences and people.
• Growth mindset with focus on continual learning and improvement.
• Willingness to explore living/working in different parts of the US; relocation assistance provided.
• Able to communicate effectively in English.
• Have valid US work authorization and will not require sponsorship in the future.

Responsibilities

• Support the business and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Contribute to ABB's strategic objectives through the R&D Early Career Program.
• Learn through formal training and hands-on assignments under the program manager.
• Deliver assigned tasks and projects within each rotation period.
