Job summary

Medline Industries, LP is offering an R&D Design Intern position in the United States as part of a 10-week summer program.

You will work with full-time engineers and product teams on new product development projects, prototype fabrication, and competitive analysis. The internship emphasizes hands-on experience, with social/networking events and leadership presentations designed to build practical skills in a large healthcare organization.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in engineering, mechanical preferred
• Junior standing with 3.0 minimum GPA preferred
• Detail oriented with superior organizational, analytical, and problem solving skills
• Motivated self-starter
• Experience with product development and prototype fabrication preferred
• Design project experience
• App/Programming skills are beneficial but not required
• Unrestricted permanent US work authorization

Responsibilities

• Contribute to product development projects as assigned by management
• Review and submit IP
• Interact with internal stakeholders to identify key design aspects of device projects
