Job summary

Medline Industries, LP invites a motivated R&D Design Intern to work with full-time engineers and product teams on new product development projects. The 10-week summer program runs early June through mid-August in the Chicagoland area, offering hands-on design experience and exposure to real-world healthcare product challenges.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in engineering, mechanical preferred.
• Junior standing with 3.0 minimum GPA preferred.
• Detail oriented with organizational, analytical, and problem solving skills.
• Unrestricted permanent US work authorization.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to product development projects as assigned by management.
• Review and submit IP.
• Interact with internal stakeholders to identify key design aspects of device projects.

Education
