Medline Industries, LP is offering a Summer 2027 R&D Design Intern position in the Chicagoland area. This 10-week internship lets you work with full-time engineers and product teams on multiple new product development projects, gaining hands-on experience and exposure to IP review.

Ideal candidates are engineering undergrads with a 3.0 GPA, strong problem-solving skills, and a self-starter mindset, seeking real-world product development experience at a large healthcare company.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in engineering, mechanical preferred.
• Junior standing with 3.0 minimum GPA preferred.
• Detail oriented with superior organizational, analytical, and problem solving skills.
• Motivated self-starter.
• Experience with product development and prototype fabrication preferred.
• Design project experience.
• App/Programming skills are beneficial but not required.
• Unrestricted permanent US work authorization.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to product development projects as assigned by management.
• Review and submit IP.
• Interact with internal stakeholders to identify key design aspects of device projects.
