Job summary

Kensington360 is seeking a CNC Programmer for a high-precision R&D prototype machining shop in Philadelphia. You will design, write, and optimize CNC programs for low-volume, high-mix production of 20-40 devices, collaborating with engineers and machinists to meet evolving specs.

In this role you will interpret CAD models and drawings, support prototype development, and troubleshoot complex programming challenges while maintaining tight tolerances and high quality in a cutting-edge medical

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a CNC Programmer.
• Proficiency with Mastercam.
• Experience programming multi-axis CNC machines.
• Familiarity with Heidenhain controls.
• Experience in prototype/R&D/NPI environments preferred.
• Comfortable machining high-tolerance components.

Responsibilities

• Develop, write, and optimise CNC programs using Mastercam.
• Program and support machining operations across.
• Interpret CAD models, engineering drawings, and prototype specifications.
• Support new product development, prototyping, and validation builds.
• Collaborate closely with R&D engineers and machinists.
• Troubleshoot machining and programming challenges.
• Optimise toolpaths, strategies, and cycle times for prototype work.
