Our company is seeking a passionate and skilled Permanent R&D CNC Machinist to join our dynamic team. This position provides a unique opportunity to work with a team of experienced professionals in the manufacturing industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for using computer numerically controlled (CNC) machinery to produce precision parts. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, strong problem-solving abilities, and a solid understanding of machining processes. This is a full-time position that provides a competitive salary and benefits package.

Responsibilities

  • Setup, operate, and maintain CNC machinery to produce high-quality parts.
  • Read and interpret technical drawings and plans to understand the specifications and tolerances of the product.
  • Have a working knowledge of using G Code and M Code.
  • Use precision measuring instruments to inspect and verify the dimensions of the parts.
  • Collaborate with the R&D team to develop and implement new manufacturing processes and techniques.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe and productive work environment.
  • Detect and report any machine malfunctions promptly and accurately.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives by suggesting modifications and enhancements to improve the efficiency and quality of the machining process.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace to ensure efficient operations.
  • Perform routine maintenance on machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience as a CNC Machinist in the manufacturing industry.
  • Proficiency in operating and maintaining CNC machinery, including lathes, mills, and screw machines.
  • Solid understanding of G Code and M Code programming.
  • Excellent ability to read and interpret technical drawings and plans.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with precision measuring instruments.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A strong commitment to safety and quality.
  • High school diploma or equivalent. A degree or certificate in machining or a related field is a plus.
