Job summary

RxSight is seeking an experienced R&D Cleanroom Technician II to support development and production of advanced ophthalmic technology in a controlled cleanroom environment in Aliso Viejo, California.

You will independently execute processes after training, accurately log data, and collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to address issues and contribute to materials and process evaluations. Mentoring junior technicians will also be part of the role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• At least 3 years in the medical device industry.
• Experience in a cleanroom/manufacturing environment.
• Ability to document data accurately.
• Leadership experience or mentoring others.

Responsibilities

• Manufacture prototype, pilot, and validation units per specs and quality standards.
• Test manufactured units and address deviations to ensure product integrity.
• Log data from manufacturing and testing processes for traceability.
• Train and mentor junior technicians on cleanroom protocols and processes.
• Identify abnormalities and drive process improvements with cross-functional teams.
• Maintain cleanroom and equipment, performing basic troubleshooting as needed.
• Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.
