Qualifications

• PhD in a related field is preferred.
• Strong expertise in polymer chemistry and resin development.
• Experience with unsaturated polyester resins or vinyl ester resins is highly valued.
• Ability to design, run, and analyze experiments and translate results into applications.

Responsibilities

• Lead short and long-term R&D projects focused on resin technology and product performance.
• Develop and evaluate new resin technologies for sustainability and regulatory needs.
• Apply polymer chemistry to investigate structure–property relationships for formulation.
• Design, execute, and analyze laboratory experiments to accelerate development.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to troubleshoot manufacturing and customer issues and improve product performance.
• Translate technical findings into clear recommendations for stakeholders.
• Manage projects from concept to commercialization, balancing priorities and timelines.
• Maintain thorough technical documentation and ensure safety and regulatory compliance.
• Travel up to 20% to support customers and sites as needed.
