Job summary

Qualifications

• BA degree in inorganic or electrochemistry or polymer/materials science and 3+ years of technical research experience.
• Knowledge of physical and chemical analysis fundamentals.
• Experience in a R&D laboratory environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Research, develop, and formulate new surface treatment products for PCB, MIC, connectors and IC substrates.
• Maintain safety: uphold EH&S standards in lab activities.
• Review literature and patent materials for new resin systems and polymers.
• Prepare presentations and reports distilling complex ideas into actionable results.
• Participate in workgroups and meetings to address safety and process improvements.
• Communicate and document work clearly; mentor junior staff as needed.
