Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or related field or equivalent practical experience.
• 2-5 years in systems integration, test engineering, automation, or related area.
• Understanding of how software, hardware, and operational processes interact in a system.
• Knowledge of software deployment concepts and interfaces, alarms, and configurations.
• Ability to document findings clearly and work with cross-functional teams.
• Willingness to travel regularly to on-site facility in White, GA (50%).

Responsibilities

• Support integration, configuration, and commissioning of automated systems across environments.
• Assist with system validation through bench testing, simulation, emulation, and field verification.
• Execute test procedures, document results, and identify defects and improvement opportunities.
• Troubleshoot using logs, telemetry, and interface behavior to isolate root causes.
• Define and maintain interfaces between software, controls, devices, and external systems.
• Improve configuration control, repeatability, and regression coverage.
• Create and maintain technical documentation such as system overviews and test procedures.
• Collaborate with engineers and operators to ensure safety, performance, and usability.
• Assist with early deployments, pilots, and transitions to support.
• Contribute to monitoring and diagnostics improvement for easier operation.
