Job summary

Creare in Hanover, NH seeks an experienced R&D AI/ML engineer to apply advanced ML to diverse engineering challenges. You will work on state-of-the-art ML models, machine vision, data preparation, and leadership across cross-disciplinary teams.

The role requires a strong ML background, hands-on development in Python/C/C++, and familiarity with HPC or cloud environments. A full-time hybrid/remote option is available and compensation is substantial.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of AI/ML research and applied development.
• Strong background in deep neural networks with practical experience.
• MS/PhD degree in Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Physics, or equivalent.
• Experience deploying ML models for perception, robotic or related fields.

Responsibilities

• Deploy and test state-of-the-art foundational ML models on custom data.
• Integrate ML-based machine vision algorithms for 3-D reconstruction.
• Select ML architectures based on current state-of-the-art to solve specific problems.
• Create and clean datasets for training ML models.
• Batch multiple training runs for ML models.
• Assess ML model accuracy and robustness.
• Provide technical leadership to project teams.
