Qualifications

• Fluent in both Arabic and English with a strong grasp of Arabic grammar.
• Ability to connect Arabic instruction directly to Qur’anic understanding and vocabulary.
• Experience teaching children in elementary and/or middle school settings.
• Demonstrated classroom management and ability to differentiate instruction.

Responsibilities

• Teach Arabic with a focus on Qur’anic understanding, including vocabulary, structure, and meaning.
• Help students connect Arabic words and grammar to Qur’an usage in age‑appropriate ways.
• Demonstrate knowledge of intermediate Arabic grammar, vocabulary, and language structure.
• Differentiate instruction for mixed‑level learners within the same classroom.
• Design and deliver creative, engaging lessons using storytelling, visuals, games, arts, and hands‑on activities.
• Make Arabic a meaningful subject beyond rote memorization and foster love for the Qur’an.
• Create a supportive classroom environment where students feel confident and spiritually connected.
• Assess student progress in language skills and Qur’anic comprehension.
• Collaborate with colleagues to align Arabic instruction with Islamic Studies and Qur’an programs.
• Communicate progress and milestones with parents.
