Job summary

GWS Tool Group in Nashville, TN seeks a Quoting Specialist to prepare accurate quotes and build estimates for standard and custom tools. You will gather data from customers and sales reps to select tool types and assess production feasibility.

Responsibilities include quoting, communicating with customers, assisting inside sales, and monitoring material flow while ensuring EH&S and ISO compliance. A strong background in manufacturing/engineering enhances success.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of quoting experience is preferred.
• 5+ years in Manufacturing, Engineering or Related Role, preferably Aerospace.
• AutoCAD and Excel proficiency required.

Responsibilities

• Establish tool design and quote standards, modified standards, and custom tools.
• Collect data by interfacing with customers and sales reps to help select tool types.
• Gather manufacturing and engineering data to evaluate feasibility and provide quotes.
• Communicate with customers regarding quotations, applications and design engineering.
• Assist inside sales with order processing, calls and mail during peak load.
• Request material quotes and schedule production materials for optimal levels.
• Evaluate supplies for quality and timeliness; monitor material flow.
• Produce reports on findings and production performance; ensure compliance with EH&S and ISO standards.
