BioIVT is seeking a Quoting Specialist to prepare accurate customer quotes in a fast-paced, SLA-driven environment. You will collaborate with Sales and Finance, enter quotes in Salesforce, and ensure pricing accuracy and compliance.

The role emphasizes strong communication, problem-solving, and attention to detail in a B2B setting, with a focus on timely, precise quotation delivery.

Qualifications

  • 1–3 years of experience in quoting, sales operations, customer support, or a similar role.
  • Hands‑on experience using Salesforce (required); experience with CRM or quoting tools preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to deliver customer‑centric communication that is clear, empathetic, and solution‑oriented.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast‑paced, SLA‑driven environment while maintaining quality and accuracy.
  • Proven track record of applying critical thinking to resolve customer inquiries and complex requests.
  • Experience supporting sales teams in a B2B environment, with familiarity in pricing structures, approvals, and contracts.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and deliver customer quotes within defined SLA response times, ensuring clear, empathetic, and tailored communication that prioritizes customer needs.
  • Validate customer requirements, product details, and pricing inputs prior to quote release, applying deep product knowledge and understanding of company policies to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Enter, update, and manage quote data in Salesforce with a high degree of precision, demonstrating strong systems proficiency and attention to detail.
  • Collaborate closely with Sales to provide status updates, clarify requirements, and coordinate next steps, fostering a seamless team approach to meeting customer expectations.
  • Identify and resolve incomplete or incorrect quote requests through critical thinking and proactive problem solving, ensuring issues are addressed before impacting timelines.
  • Escalate non standard pricing or complex requests in accordance with established processes, using sound judgment to balance customer needs with business requirements.
  • Maintain detailed documentation and audit trails within Salesforce to support compliance, quality standards, and future reference.
  • Manage workload effectively to meet deadlines in a fast paced, SLA driven environment, demonstrating strong time management skills.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying recurring issues, bottlenecks, and opportunities to enhance the quoting process.
  • Model professionalism and influence team outcomes by sharing expertise, guiding peers, and contributing to a positive, collaborative work culture.

The Quoting Specialist is responsible for preparing accurate, timely, and high-quality customer quotes in support of the commercial organization. This role operates in a high-volume, SLA-driven environment where speed, precision, and follow-through are critical to customer satisfaction and revenue execution. The Quoting Specialist partners closely with Sales, Finance, and other CS functions and works extensively in Salesforce.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Prepare and deliver customer quotes within defined SLA response times, ensuring clear, empathetic, and tailored communication that prioritizes customer needs.
