Job summary

This desk-based engineering role emphasizes accurate quoting and collaboration with Sales, Manufacturing Engineering, Sourcing, and Operations.

You will develop material and process cost analyses, identify cost drivers, and help ensure timely, competitive quotations that protect margins.

Qualifications

• 2-5+ years in manufacturing, engineering support, estimating, or technical quoting roles.
• Ability to read and interpret assembly drawings, schematics, specifications, and customer documentation.
• ERP/MRP system experience.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong analytical skills with understanding of manufacturing cost drivers.

Responsibilities

• Develop BOMs to support quoting and production readiness.
• Prepare detailed labor estimates and manufacturing cost models.
• Identify cost drivers including materials, labor, tooling, and process requirements.
• Review customer drawings, specifications, and documentation to define scope and requirements.
• Translate customer requirements into routing and process steps.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing Eng, Sourcing, and Operations to validate cost assumptions.
