J2 Systems is a manufacturer of various acoustical and decorative interior systems, including wall coverings and panel systems, baffles, clouds, and partitions. We are looking for reliable, hard-working individual who takes pride in their work to assist us in quote writing / estimating, and production management.

We are a small company with a family-like feel and a fun work environment. We work hard but we like to have a good time too. As our company grows, we need additional help to take care of our customers.

As a Quote Writer and Production Manager, your job will be to respond to customer requests for pricing and lead times, determine material quantities and other inputs, estimate lead times, and help ensure that orders move smoothly and on-schedule. This involves scheduling production, compiling raw material orders, tracking materials, coordinating internally with our production team, and coordinating externally with customers and subcontractors.

Responsibilities

• Interact with customers via email and phone
• Create estimates based on customers’ requested list of products
• Determine materials needed for production for customer orders
• Create and review work orders
• Schedule production with production staff
• Track materials from purchase orders used in production
• Track production progress

Qualifications

• Detail oriented
• Basic math skills
• Comfortable with basic Excel, Word
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Drivers License
• High school diploma
• Some college or trade experience
