About the Role
Cultivating reliable systems is at the core of how Culture Amp builds a better world of work. As the Quote‑to‑Cash Systems Lead, you will be the dedicated, hands‑on owner of the core revenue systems, accountable for the integrity, scalability, and continued evolution of the entire Q2C lifecycle. This is an architect‑and‑builder role. You will design the technical solution, build the complex parts yourself, and partner directly with Deal Desk, Finance, Pricing & Packaging, and Legal to make sure what we build is what the business actually needs. You will be the lead technical point of accountability for Q2C systems across Salesforce, DealHub CPQ, DocuSign CLM, and integrations with downstream systems. You must be legally authorised to work in the United States for the duration of employment.
Responsibilities
- Own Q2C solutions end to end, design the technical solution and integration patterns across Salesforce, DealHub CPQ, DocuSign CLM, and collaborate with teams owning downstream systems like NetSuite and our data warehouse.
- Build the hard parts yourself by leading hands‑on implementation of the most complex Q2C workstreams.
- Serve as the primary technical partner for Deal Desk, Finance, P&P, and Legal—translating challenging business problems into clear, scalable system designs and credible delivery commitments.
- Drive the Q2C roadmap alongside the Director and stakeholders—defining the initial problem, creating a detailed plan, and seeing it through to post‑launch success across multi‑quarter programs.
- Eliminate technical debt by proactively identifying and remediating QTC tech debt accumulated through Q2C transformation and preventing new debt by setting and enforcing design standards.
- Partner with downstream teams to maintain and scale critical integrations and serve as the GTM Systems voice in cross‑team architecture conversations.
- Produce clear, useful documentation—data flows, solution designs, runbooks, and how‑to guides—to make the system operable by the broader team.
- Mentor teammates on Q2C best practices and contribute to the technical growth of the GTM Systems team.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of progressive experience as a Solutions Architect, Lead Business Systems Analyst, or similar senior systems role—preferably in a fast‑paced enterprise SaaS environment with subscription revenue.
- Deep, hands‑on expertise across the Quote‑to‑Cash lifecycle, including the specific stakeholder needs and design trade‑offs that exist within it.
- Strong ownership mindset and proven track record of handling architecture and execution on complex CPQ, CLM and billing programs: designing the solution, building the high‑complexity components, and being accountable for outcomes through hyper‑care.
- Hands‑on experience with Salesforce development.
- Direct experience implementing or operating DealHub CPQ and DocuSign CLM (or comparable enterprise CPQ/CLM tools) in a subscription‑management context.
- The ability to balance speed with long‑term scalability—ship workable solutions under pressure while holding line on critical design choices.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical solutions and trade‑offs to non‑technical colleagues and earn their trust as a thought partner.
- Salesforce Admin, Advanced Admin, and Platform App Builder certifications, with active progress toward additional advanced certifications (e.g., Salesforce Application Architect, CPQ Specialist).
Bonus Points
- Direct experience implementing DealHub CPQ end‑to‑end.
- Experience with DocuSign CLM advanced features (CLM workflows, Gen, Negotiate).
- Salesforce Application Architect or System Architect certifications, or CPQ Specialist.
- Hands‑on experience with NetSuite billing integration patterns.
- Experience designing ARR / subscription analytics models in a CDW (Snowflake, BigQuery, etc.).
- Previous experience working directly in a Deal Desk, Sales Operations, or Finance Operations team.
