Job summary

Culture Amp is seeking a Quote-to-Cash Systems Lead in Chicago to own the end-to-end Q2C lifecycle across Salesforce, DealHub CPQ, DocuSign CLM, and downstream systems. You will design the technical solution, build complex components, and partner with cross-functional teams to meet business needs.

The role demands 5+ years in senior systems roles within enterprise SaaS, deep Q2C experience, and hands-on Salesforce development.

Responsibilities

• Own Q2C solutions end to end: design, implement, and integrate across Salesforce, DealHub CPQ, DocuSign CLM, and downstream systems like NetSuite and data warehouse.
• Lead hands-on implementation of the most complex Q2C workstreams with parallel development.
• Be primary technical partner for Deal Desk, Finance, Pricing & Packaging, and Legal, translating business problems into scalable designs.
• Drive the Q2C roadmap with stakeholders and deliver post-launch success across multi-quarter programs.
• Remediate QTC technical debt and establish design standards to prevent new debt.
• Maintain and scale critical integrations and serve as GTM Systems voice in architecture conversations.
• Produce clear data flows, design runbooks, and how-to guides for operability.
• Mentor teammates on Q2C best practices and contribute to technical growth of the GTM Systems team.

As our Quote-to-Cash Systems Lead, you will be the dedicated, hands-on owner of our core revenue systems, accountable for the integrity, scalability, and continued evolution of the entire Q2C lifecycle. This is an architect-and-builder role. You will design the technical solution, build the most complex parts of it yourself, and partner with cross-functional teams to ensure what we build meets business needs. You will be the lead technical point of accountability for Q2C systems across Salesforce, Deal Hub CPQ, DocuSign CLM, and integrations with downstream systems.

Responsibilities

• Own Q2C solutions end to end. Design the technical solution and integration patterns across Salesforce, DealHub CPQ, DocuSign CLM, and collaborate with teams owning downstream systems like NetSuite and the data warehouse.
• Lead hands-on implementation of the most complex Q2C workstreams, including design and execution in parallel with development as needed.
• Be the primary technical partner for Deal Desk, Finance, Pricing & Packaging, and Legal — translating business problems into clear, scalable system designs and credible delivery commitments.
• Drive the Q2C roadmap with stakeholders, defining problems, creating detailed plans, and delivering post-launch success across multi-quarter programs.
• Proactively identify and remediate QTC technical debt and establish design standards to prevent new debt.
• Maintain and scale critical integrations with downstream teams and serve as the GTM Systems voice in cross-team architecture conversations.
• Produce clear documentation — data flows, solution designs, runbooks, and how-to guides for operability by the broader team.
• Mentor teammates on Q2C best practices and contribute to the technical growth of the GTM Systems team.

You you'll be a great fit if you have

• 5+ years of progressive experience as a Solutions Architect, Lead Business Systems Analyst, or similar senior systems role in a fast-paced enterprise SaaS environment with subscription revenue.
• Deep, hands-on expertise across the Quote-to-Cash lifecycle, including stakeholder needs and design trade-offs within it (Deal Desk, Finance, P&P, Legal).
• A strong ownership mindset with a track record of architecture and execution on complex CPQ, CLM and billing programs: designing solutions, building high-complexity components, and owning outcomes through hypercare.
• Hands-on experience with Salesforce development.
• Direct experience implementing or operating DealHub CPQ and DocuSign CLM (or comparable enterprise CPQ/CLM tools) in a subscription-management context.
• Ability to balance speed with long-term scalability — shipping workable solutions under pressure while preserving key design choices.
• Excellent communication skills to explain technical solutions and trade-offs to non-technical colleagues and earn trust as a thought partner.
• Salesforce Admin, Advanced Admin, and Platform App Builder certifications, with progress toward additional advanced certifications (e.g., Salesforce Application Architect, CPQ Specialist).

Bonus points

• Direct experience implementing DealHub CPQ end to end
• Experience with DocuSign CLM advanced features (CLM workflows, Gen, Negotiate)
• Salesforce Application Architect or System Architect certifications, or CPQ Specialist
• Hands-on experience with NetSuite billing integration patterns
• Experience designing ARR/subscription analytics models in a CDW environment (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery)
• Previous experience in Deal Desk, Sales Operations, or Finance Operations to understand user needs beyond system capabilities

The base salary range is listed below. In addition to base salary, compensation includes equity and benefits. For sales roles, compensation may include sales commissions. The actual base salary will vary based on market, skills, capabilities, and experience, and is discussed during the interview process.
