Job summary
Cherokee Nation Aerospace and Defense LLC (CNAD), part of Cherokee Federal, seeks a Quote Team Engineer III to craft and review complex quote packages based on customer data and BOMs. You will work with cross-functional teams to translate TDPs into accurate labor estimates and material costs.
The role requires an engineering degree with 3–5 years of related experience and 3D modeling software proficiency. Strong communication and data interpretation skills are essential for success.
Qualifications
- Engineering degree and 3–5 years of related experience required.
- 3D modeling software experience required.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specs.
- Knowledge of CNC machining and sheet metal fabrication is a plus.
- Proficient with MS Office and ERP/inventory systems.
Responsibilities
- Create and review complex quote packages including BOMs, labor estimates, and run times.
- Interprete customer TDPs and engineering data for quote requirements.
- Utilize CAD/CAM to simulate machining for time estimates.
- Obtain material pricing and coordinate with Supply Chain for OSP quotes.
- Interact with customers and internal teams to clarify data and requirements.
- Review quotes for special manufacturing requirements and capabilities.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
