Job summary

SESCO Lighting, Inc. is seeking a quotations specialist to support project bids and customer requests. The role focuses on producing timely, accurate quotations for lighting projects while leveraging knowledge of lighting products, controls, and IoT devices.

You will evaluate requirements from architectural drawings and schedules, prepare submittals, and collaborate with customers, manufacturers, and sales teams. Strong math, multitasking, and software skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience in miscellaneous lighting and project quotations.
• General knowledge of lighting products, lighting controls and IoT enabled devices.
• Ability to read and understand building and control drawings.
• Experience in submittal creation and review.
• Excellent math skills.
• Ability to multi-task.
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, internet research, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Builds and maintains relationships with customers, manufacturers, and outside sales people as directed
• Evaluates project requirements, architectural drawings, and lighting fixture schedules to identify lighting bill of materials suitable to achieve the desired outcome of the project
• Provide project quotations that are efficient and competitive to local market conditions
• Provide quotations on both miscellaneous and project quotes as requested by customers
• A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required
• Attend product and training sessions when available
• Exercise independent judgement
• Learsns and understands SESCO Lighting’s full product offer and its functionality
• Bring ideas and share with the team, to promote overall company growth
• Other duties as assigned by manager

The Opportunity: Responsible for project quotations as requested by customers in a timely and efficient manner. All project quotations to be finalized at least 24 hours prior to bidding.
