Job summary

SECO Lighting, Inc. is seeking a quotations specialist in Little Rock, AR to prepare timely project quotes and learn SESCO's full lighting product range. You will read architectural drawings, assess BOM needs, and create competitive offers for both miscellaneous and project quotes.

Strong math, multitasking, and office software skills are required. The role emphasizes building customer relationships, attending trainings, and contributing ideas to drive company growth within a dynamic team

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience in miscellaneous lighting and project quotations.
• Ability to read and understand building and control drawings.
• Strong math skills and the ability to multi-task.
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook and internet research.

Responsibilities

• Builds and maintains relationships with customers, manufacturers, and outside sales people as directed.
• Evaluates project requirements and lighting schedules to identify BOMs for successful outcomes.
• Provide project quotations that are efficient and competitive to local market conditions.

Job description

The Opportunity:

Responsible for project quotations as requested by customers in a timely and efficient manner. All project quotations to be finalized at least 24 hours prior to bidding.

Position Responsibilities

• Builds and maintains relationships with customers, manufacturers, and outside sales people as directed
• Evaluates project requirements, architectural drawings, and lighting fixture schedules to identify lighting bill of material suitable to achieve the desired outcome of the project
• Provide project quotations that are efficient and competitive to local market conditions
• Provide quotations on both miscellaneous and project quotes as requested by customers
• A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required
• Attend product and training sessions when available
• Exercise independent judgement
• Learns and understands SESCO Lighting's full product offer and its functionality
• Bring ideas and share with the team, to promote overall company growth
• Other duties as assigned by manager
• Must possess 2-4 years of experience in miscellaneous lighting and project quotations
• Possess general knowledge of lighting products as well as lighting controls and IOT enabled devices
• Ability to read and understand building and control drawings
• Experience in submittal creation and review
• Must have excellent math skills
• Must be able to multi-task
• Must be proficient in Word, Excel, internet research, and Outlook
