Job summary

SESCO Lighting Inc is seeking an energetic project quotation specialist to deliver timely and accurate quotes for lighting projects. You will evaluate requirements, drawings, and schedules to assemble the bill of materials that meets the project goals while staying competitive in the local market.

Ideal candidates have 2–4 years of experience in miscellaneous lighting and project quotations, with strong math skills and proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook, and internet research.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience in miscellaneous lighting and project quotations.
• General knowledge of lighting products, as well as lighting controls and IoT-enabled devices.
• Ability to read and understand building and control drawings.
• Experience in submittal creation and review.
• Excellent math skills.
• Must multi-task.
• Proficient in Word, Excel, internet research, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Builds and maintains relationships with customers, manufacturers, and outside salespeople as directed.
• Evaluates project requirements, architectural drawings, and lighting fixture schedules to identify a lighting bill of materials suitable to achieve the project outcome.
• Provide project quotations that are efficient and competitive to local market conditions.
• Provide quotations on both miscellaneous and project quotes as requested by customers.
• Attend product and training sessions when available.
• Exercise independent judgement.
• Lears and understands SESCO Lighting's full product offer and its functionality.
• Bring ideas and share with the team, to promote overall company growth.
• Other duties as assigned by manager.
