Graybar in Indiana is seeking a Quotations Specialist to manage the quotes process from request to submission. You will gather details from sales, customer service, customers and manufacturers to prepare accurate cost estimates and ensure profitable quotations.

You will use SAP and Excel, build relationships with suppliers, and compare bills of materials to price differences for complete quotes. The role requires strong communication, customer service, and deadline-driven work.

Qualificações

• High School education required; 2 year degree preferred.
• 2+ years experience in quotations or related role preferred.
• Familiarity with SAP and Excel formulas.

Make a difference.As a Quotations Specialist, you will handle the quotations process from the time you receive the request to the time you submit the quote to the customer. You will communicate with Graybar sales representatives, customer service representatives, customers and manufacturer representatives to gather needed details to create your quotes. You will learn about our product lines and pricing mechanics, as well as the computer systems we use in order to provide quotations that result in profitable sales for the Company.In this role you will:Prepare cost estimates of materialContact factories and representatives to obtain cost informationCollaborate with sales representatives and customer service representativesForm relationships with customers and suppliers to provide on-time and accurate quotationsCompare manufacturers’ bills of material to ascertain and price any differences for complete comparisonsWhat you bring to the table:Customer service and communication skillsAbility to meet deadlinesKnowledge of SAP and ability to work with Excel formulas2+ years experience preferredHigh School education2 year degree in Business or related preferredCompensation Details: The expected pay rate for this position is $19.00 - $22.00 per hour depending on experience.Shift and Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm.The Value of Graybar:At Graybar, we are known for our comprehensive benefits and our employee stock ownership plan!
