Job summary

Ford of Uniontown is seeking a Quick Lube Service Technician to perform oil changes, fluid checks, belt and filter inspections, and basic maintenance to keep vehicles operating safely. You will work at a Ford dealership, part of the Ford Family, upholding a tradition of service to customers and the community.

The role emphasizes accurate diagnostics, use of electronic diagnostic equipment, and readiness to learn new repair procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical degree preferred.
• Ford Certification is a plus; Pa State/Emissions license is a plus.
• Experience at a Ford dealership is a plus.
• Ability to identify problems quickly; knowledge of automobiles; strong analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Test to check whether systems and components are secure and working properly
• Isolate the systems or components that might have caused the problem
• Drive the vehicle for testing purposes
• Maintain efficiency and accuracy in diagnosing as well as repairing vehicles
• Repair or replace worn parts ahead of the vehicle’s breakdown or damage
• Use power tools, machine tools, and common hand tools to perform various tasks

Job description

This role will mainly be focused on fluid checks and basic maintenance. Typically, a Quick Lube Service Technician will change a vehicle's oil, check the transmission fluid and other fluid levels, inspect various belts and filters, and check air levels and gauges, basic warranty recalls, tune up, state and emissions inspections, etc.

Quick Lube Service Technician Responsibilities:
