Yaklin Ford is seeking a Quick Lube Service Technician to perform oil changes, fluid checks, and basic maintenance at our dealership. You will inspect belts, filters, air levels, and gauges, and drive vehicles for test runs to ensure safety and reliability.

The role emphasizes rapid diagnostics, accurate repairs, and customer service in a fast-paced shop. Ford certification or dealership experience is a plus.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent is required.
• Knowledge of automobiles and mechanical systems.
• Ability to identify problems quickly and communicate findings clearly.
• Technical degree or ASE certifications are a plus.

This role will mainly be focused on fluid checks and basic maintenance. Typically, a Quick Lube Service Technician will change a vehicle's oil, check the transmission fluid and other fluid levels, inspect various belts and filters, and check air levels and gauges.

Quick Lube Service Technician Responsibilities:

• Test to check whether systems and components are secure and working properly
• Isolate the systems or components that might have caused the problem
• Drive the vehicle for testing purposes
• Maintain efficiency and accuracy in diagnosing as well as repairing vehicles

Quick Lube Service Technician Requirements:

• Ford Certification is a plus
• Previous experience at a Ford dealership is a plus
• Ability to identify the problem quickly
• Knowledge of automobiles
• Effective analytical and communication skills
• Strong reading, computer, and mathematics skills
• Ability to learn new technology and repair and service procedures and specifications
• Comfortable operating electronic diagnostic equipment
• High school diploma or GED
• Technical degree preferred
• ASE certifications preferred
• Minimum of 1 year in service department
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and work on your feet for extended periods of time
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Basic computer skills
• Positive, friendly attitude
