University of Nebraska-Lincoln is seeking a Quick Service Team Leader for Husker Heroes (3:30pm-12:00am, Sun-Thurs) in the AS Dining Service-1135 department. You will supervise a mobile order quick service concept, ensure accurate, timely orders, and uphold high dining standards.

You will lead student workers, train staff, and manage tasks across kitchen, dish, and dining areas, including cash handling and inventory. This essential role may include weekends and shifts outside regular hours.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma/ GED plus three years of food preparation experience and mastery of all kitchen and dining tasks and attributes; equivalent experience/education considered.
• Ability to read, write, weigh, and measure necessary.
• The ability to communicate is essential.
• Must have the ability to train and lead others.
• Food Handlers permit or ability to obtain by passing the Safety and Sanitation test required.

Description Of Work

The Quick Service Team Leader will provide guidance and supervision within one of Abel Dining's mobile order quick service concepts and ensure that orders are accurate, timely and up to the high standards of the University Dining Services.

• Assign daily tasks and assignments to student workers and staff during their shift
• Oversee work in kitchen, dish room, and/or dining area
• Train student workers and staff on recipes, production processes, and University dining standards
• Perform all tasks in all areas/functions, such as; setting up, closing down stations, food production, restocking, daily food prep, cashiering, taking inventory food waste management, cleaning and monitoring food quality
• Troubleshoot and solve concerns directly with customers as they arise

This position is considered essential and schedule may include weekend, evening, or early morning shifts.
