Job summary

Parkway Auto Group in Dover, OH is seeking a motivated service team assistant to support the service department and help customers with friendly, attentive service.

You will schedule appointments, collaborate with technicians and front desk staff, and help keep the shop safe and clean while delivering a positive customer experience.

Qualifications

• Must have a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Valid driver''s license required.
• 1–2 years automotive industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the service manager by interacting with customers and teammates to build a friendly relationship.
• Effectively scheduling service appointments.
• Assist with ordering and organizing work within company guidelines.
• Maintain a safe, clean store environment and positive customer relations.
• Complete additional projects as assigned by the service manager.

Responsibilities:

• Assisting the Service Manager with Interacting with customers & team mates in a friendly & helpful manner in order to create a comfortable relationship with the customer
• Effectively scheduling service appointments
• Assist associates in ordering and organizing work within company policies and guidelines
• Ensure a safe and clean store environment, positive, long term customer relations and associate satisfaction.
• Complete additional projects as assigned by the service manager.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• A positive attitude & willingness to learn.
• 1 to 2 years automotive industry experience preferred
• High school diploma or its equivalency.
• Knowledge of the automotive industry (preferred)
• A professional personal appearance
• Oral and written communication skills; and an ability to read and comprehend instructions and information.
• Basic computer skills.
• Must have and maintain a valid driver's license.
