Job summary

Hall Honda Virginia Beach, part of MileOne Autogroup, is hiring a Quick Lube Automotive Technician. The role covers light maintenance, lube/oil/filter changes, tire rotation, and cooling system flushing. You will work independently and in a team to ensure high-quality service and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience as a technician’s helper or apprentice in an automobile dealership or independent shop preferred
• Must have a valid and clean driver’s license
• Must be able to work in a faced paced environment
• Possess good customer relations skills
• Must be able to work weekends

Responsibilities

• Performs light maintenance and repairs to vehicles including lube, oil, and filter changes
• Balances and rotates tires, flushes cooling system
• Inspects fluid levels and tires, lubricates moving parts
• Drains oil and refills, replaces oil and air filters
• Inspects vehicles for additional repairs needed

Summary:
The Quick Lube Automotive Technician will perform light maintenance and repairs to vehicles including lube, oil, and filter changes, balancing and rotation of tires, and flushing cooling system. This will require that you work both independently and within a team environment to ensure highest level of service and customer satisfaction.

Essential Duties for Quick Lube Automotive Technician:

• Injects grease into units, such as springs, universal joints, and steering knuckles, using hand or compressed-air powered grease gun
• Inspects fluid levels of steering gear, power steering reservoir, transmission, differential, rear axle housings and shackles
• Checks air pressure of tires
• Lubricates moving parts with specific lubricants
• Drains oil from crankcase and refills with required amount of oil
• Replace oil and air filters
• Inspects all vehicles for additional repairs needed

Qualifications for Quick Lube Automotive Technician:

• 1-2 years of experience as a technician’s helper or apprentice in an automobile dealership or independent shop preferred
