Job summary

Hall Mazda in Virginia Beach is seeking a motivated Quick Lube Technician to perform light maintenance and repairs and support career growth within a MileOne shop.

You will handle oil and filter changes, tire rotation and balancing, and cooling system flushes, working both independently and with a team to deliver top-quality service and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience as a technician's helper or apprentice in an automobile dealership or independent shop preferred.
• Must have a valid and clean driver's license with 2 or fewer moving violations in the last 3 years and ALSO no major violations (DUI, reckless driving, etc.) in the last 3 years
• Must be able to work in a faced paced environment
• Possess good customer relations skills
• Must be able to work weekends
• Candidates must be 18 or older (Candidates under 21 only allowed 1 moving violation in last 3 years, no major violations)

Responsibilities

• Injects grease into units using hand or compressed-air powered grease gun.
• Inspects fluid levels of steering gear, power steering reservoir, transmission, differential, rear axle housings and shackles.
• Checks air pressure of tires.
• Lubricates moving parts with specific lubricants.
• Drains oil from crankcase and refills with required amount of oil.
• Replace oil and air filters.
• Inspects all vehicles for additional repairs needed.

Hall Mazda is looking for a motivated Quick Lube Technician who is interested in working at a shop that provides opportunity for career growth. The Quick Lube Technician will perform light maintenance and repairs to vehicles including lube, oil, and filter changes, balancing and rotation of tires, and flushing cooling system. This will require that you work both independently and within a team environment to ensure highest level of service and customer satisfaction.

Essential Duties for Quick Lube Technician
