Job summary

Ford dealership seeks a Quick Lube Service Technician to perform routine fluid checks, oil changes and inspections. You will drive vehicles for testing, diagnose issues, and maintain accuracy in repairs while ensuring safety and efficiency.

Candidate should have strong automotive knowledge, basic computer skills, and a proactive, team-oriented attitude. Ford Certification is a plus; prior Ford experience is valued.

Qualifications

• Must demonstrate basic mechanical and diagnostic aptitude.
• Ability to follow procedures and read technical instructions clearly.
• Good communication and teamwork skills are essential.
• Prior experience with automotive service is a plus.
• Ford Certification or ASE credentials are desirable but not required.
• Comfort working with diagnostic tools and hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Test systems and components to ensure security and proper operation.
• Isolate issues and identify potential causes quickly.
• Road-test vehicles to verify repairs and diagnose performance.
• Perform preventive maintenance and replace worn parts.
• Use power tools, machine tools and diagnostic equipment to complete tasks.
