Job summary

Ford-of-Londonderr is seeking a Quick Lube Service Technician to perform basic maintenance and fluid checks at a United States Ford dealership. You will inspect belts and filters, change oil, and verify air levels and gauges while testing systems for reliability.

You will also drive the vehicle for testing purposes, diagnose issues, and use power and diagnostic tools to repair or replace worn parts. This role rewards a positive attitude and steady pace.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ford Certification is a plus; previous experience at a Ford dealership is a plus.
• Ability to learn new technology and repair procedures.
• Strong reading, math, and computer skills.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Test to check whether systems and components are secure and working properly.
• Isolate the systems or components that might have caused the problem.
• Drive the vehicle for testing purposes.
• Maintain efficiency and accuracy in diagnosing as well as repairing vehicles.
• Repair or replace worn parts ahead of the vehicle’s breakdown or damage.
• Use power tools, machine tools, and common hand tools to perform various tasks.
