Wheelers Chevrolet GMC of Wisconsin Rapids is seeking a Quick Lube Technician to join our growing team. The role focuses on basic maintenance, including oil changes, fluid level checks, belt and filter inspections, and tire rotation. You will work with our service advisors to ensure vehicle safety and reliability.

Qualifications

• Deep understanding of automobiles and basic mechanics.
• Effective analytical and communication skills and eagerness to improve.
• Ability to learn new technology and service procedures.
• One year in a service department preferred.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Test that systems and components are working properly.
• Inspect and refill all fluid levels as necessary, perform full oil change.
• Drive the vehicle for testing purposes and communicate any issues to the service advisors.
• Inspect tires for proper pressure as well as tread depth, perform rotates as needed.

This role will mainly be focused on basic maintenance; typically a technician will change a vehicle's oil, check fluid levels, inspect various belts and filters, and check and rotate tires.
