Job summary

Wheelers of Wisconsin Rapids is seeking a Service Technician to join our team. The right candidate will have a strong service technician background and the ability to work as part of a positive team.

The day-to-day duties include performing work on specific repair orders and diagnosing what repairs need to be done. We offer support for ASE Certification and Chevy/GMC training, along with a state-of-the-art facility and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Service Technician experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
• Ability to learn new technology and repair procedures.
• Valid driver's license with clean record.

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership
• Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers are informed if any additional service is needed. Provide an estimate of time needed for additional repairs
• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications

The right candidate will have a strong service technician background and ability to work as part of a positive team. The day-to-day duties include performing work on specific repair orders and diagnosing what repairs need to be done.

If you are a technician with previous experience and would like to receive ASE Certification we will support you in facilitating training and anything you need to achieve ASE Certification as well as any Chevy/GMC training and certifications.
