Job summary

Wheelers Chevrolet GMC in Wisconsin Rapids is seeking an Entry Level Technician to perform fluid checks, oil changes, and basic maintenance. You will join a growing team and receive hands-on training.

Qualifications

• Deep understanding of automobiles and basic mechanics.
• Prefer 2 years of mechanical experience.
• Strong analytical and communication skills with a drive to learn.
• Ability to learn new technology and service procedures.
• One year in a service department preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Test that systems and components are working properly.
• Inspect and refill all fluid levels; perform full oil changes.
• Drive the vehicle for testing and report issues to service advisors.
• Inspect tires for pressure and tread depth; rotate as needed.
• Maintain efficiency and accuracy in diagnosing and repairing vehicles.
• Use power tools, machine tools and common hand tools for tasks.

Wheelers Chevrolet GMC is currently looking for an Entry Level Technician to join our growing team! This role will mainly be focused on fluid checks and basic maintenance. Typically a technician will change a vehicle's oil, check fluid levels, inspect various belts and filters, and check and rotate tires.
