Qualifications

• Strong understanding of vehicles and diagnostic skills.
• Willingness to learn new technologies and repair procedures.
• Experience in a service department is preferred but newcomers welcome.
• Ability to use electronic diagnostic tools and other equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle inspections: test and check systems to ensure everything is working.
• Diagnose and repair: identify problems and perform necessary repairs.
• Test drive vehicles: ensure proper performance and make adjustments as needed.
• Maintain vehicle components: inspect and refill fluids, check tire pressure, clean and lubricate parts.
• Install parts: replace oil drain plugs and filters, manage oil levels.
• Utilize tools and equipment: use hand and power tools and diagnostic equipment.

What You’ll Do:

What We’re Looking For:

• Automotive Knowledge: A strong understanding of vehicles and diagnostic skills.
• Willingness to Learn: An eagerness to learn new technologies and repair procedures.
• Hands-On Experience: While experience is preferred, we’re open to candidates with a passion for automotive service and a desire to grow.
• Technical Skills: Ability to use electronic diagnostic tools and other equipment.
• Education and Certification: High School Diploma or GED required. ASE Certification or a Technical Degree is preferred, but we’re willing to help you work towards these qualifications.
• Experience: Ideally, one year of experience in a service department, but we welcome enthusiastic newcomers.
• Driver’s License: A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record are essential.
