Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• ASE certification or technical degree preferred; employer to help toward qualifications.
• Automotive knowledge and diagnostic skills essential.
• Ability to use electronic diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Valid driver's license with clean record.

Responsibilities

• Perform Vehicle Inspections: Test and check systems to ensure everything is working properly.
• Diagnose and Repair: Identify problems and perform necessary repairs to keep vehicles running smoothly.
• Test Drive Vehicles: Ensure proper performance and make adjustments as needed.
• Maintain Vehicle Components: Inspect and refill fluids, check tires, and lubricate parts.
• Install Parts: Replace oil drains plugs, oil filters, and manage oil levels.
• Utilize Tools: Use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment to complete tasks.

What You’ll Do:

What We’re Looking For:

• Automotive Knowledge:A strong understanding of vehicles and diagnostic skills.
• Willingness to Learn:An eagerness to learn new technologies and repair procedures.
• Hands-On Experience:While experience is preferred, we’re open to candidates with a passion for automotive service and a desire to grow.
• Technical Skills:Ability to use electronic diagnostic tools and other equipment.
• Education and Certification:High School Diploma or GED required. ASE Certification or a Technical Degree is preferred, but we’re willing to help you work towards these qualifications.
• Experience:Ideally, one year of experience in a service department, but we welcome enthusiastic newcomers.
• Driver’s License:A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record are essential.
