Job summary

Ford of Dalton is seeking a Quick Lube Service Technician to perform routine maintenance and fluid checks on a variety of vehicles in a busy dealership setting.

You will change oil, inspect belts and filters, check air levels and gauges, and use diagnostic tools to ensure vehicles meet safety and performance standards. The role emphasizes accuracy, efficiency, and customer-focused service while offering competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Technical degree preferred.
• ASE certifications preferred.
• Minimum 1 year in service department.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong reading, math, and computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Test to check whether systems and components are secure and working properly.
• Isolate the systems or components that might have caused the problem.
• Drive the vehicle for testing purposes.
• Maintain efficiency and accuracy in diagnosing as well as repairing vehicles.
• Repair or replace worn parts ahead of the vehicle’s breakdown or damage.
• Use power tools, machine tools, and common hand tools to perform various tasks.
• Use tire changing machines.
• Use tire balancing machines.

Job description

This role will mainly be focused on fluid checks and basic maintenance. Typically, a Quick Lube Service Technician will change a vehicle's oil, check the transmission fluid and other fluid levels, inspect various belts and filters, and check air levels and gauges.

Quick Lube Service Technician Responsibilities
