Job summary

Johnson Brothers Ford II, Ltd in Temple, TX seeks a motivated Quick Lane Automotive Technician to join a busy service team. You will perform routine maintenance, tire services, alignments, brake inspections and repairs, and diagnose light mechanical issues, while efficiently communicating with Service Advisors.

You will be responsible for accurate documentation, maintaining a clean work area, and helping teammates keep vehicles moving through the shop in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Automotive repair or maintenance experience preferred
• Valid driver’s license

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and vehicle services
• Mount, balance, repair, and replace tires
• Perform wheel alignments
• Perform brake inspections and brake repairs
• Perform fluid exchanges and maintenance services
• Replace batteries, filters, wiper blades, bulbs, and other maintenance items
• Complete thorough multi-point inspections
• Diagnose and perform light mechanical repairs
• Identify additional maintenance and repair needs
• Clearly communicate recommendations to Service Advisors
• Maintain accurate documentation of work performed
• Keep your work area and the shop clean and organized
• Work with other technicians to keep vehicles moving through the shop efficiently

We’re looking for a motivated Quick Lane Automotive Technician to join our team!

This position is for someone who enjoys staying busy, takes pride in their work, and wants the opportunity to make money while continuing to grow their automotive skills.

Our Quick Lane handles much more than just oil changes. We’re looking for a technician who can properly inspect vehicles, identify needed maintenance and repairs, and get the work done efficiently and correctly.

What you’ll be doing:

• Perform routine maintenance and vehicle services
