Job summary

Johnson Brothers Ford II, Ltd is seeking a hardworking Quick Lane Speed Bay Technician in Temple, TX. This fast-paced role focuses on oil changes, tire rotation, inspections, and accurate communication of maintenance needs to the Service Advisor.

You will work with a team to move vehicles efficiently, keep a clean workspace, and follow safety procedures while developing automotive experience and advancing your career.

Qualifications

• Perform oil and filter changes and tire rotation.
• Inspect brakes, tires, fluids, filters, belts, and hoses.
• Complete multi-point vehicle inspections and top off fluids as needed.

Responsibilities

• Communicate needed maintenance to the Service Advisor.
• Work with technicians to keep vehicles moving through the Speed Bay.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow safety procedures.
• Operate lifts and shop tools properly.

We’re looking for a hardworking, dependable Quick Lane Speed Bay Technician to join our team!

Our Speed Bay is built around teamwork, efficiency, and doing the job right the first time. This is a fast-paced position and a great opportunity for someone looking to build their automotive experience and grow into the next level of their career.

What you’ll be doing:

• Perform oil and filter changes
• Rotate and balance tires
• Check and adjust tire pressures
• Inspect brakes, tires, fluids, filters, belts, hoses, and other maintenance items
• Complete multi-point vehicle inspections
• Check and top off fluids as needed
• Replace wiper blades, filters, bulbs, and other maintenance items
• Communicate needed maintenance and repairs to the Service Advisor
• Work alongside other technicians to keep vehicles moving through the Speed Bay efficiently
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Properly operate lifts, tire equipment, and other shop tools
• Follow all dealership and shop safety procedures
