Job summary

TEAM FORD LINCOLN in Las Vegas is seeking a Quick Lane Lube Technician to assist with oil changes, tire rotations and light maintenance in our busy Quick Lane.

You will perform multipoint inspections, communicate service needs to advisors, and train alongside skilled technicians while following safety procedures.

This on-site role requires a HS diploma/GED and a valid driver’s license; prior Quick Lane experience is a plus.

• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and operating instructions.

Job Title: Quick Lane Lube Technician

SUMMARY

TEAM FORD LINCOLN is looking for qualified Lube Technicians for our Quick Lane location.The Quick Lane Lube Technician must be able to assist with vehicle maintenance and light care like oil changes and tire rotations. Also assisting in quick care maintenance such as tire repair, various lubricated system flushes and providing a complete multipoint inspection of our client's motor vehicle.

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform multipoint inspections
• Inspect all vehicles for additional repairs
• Communicate additional service/repair needs to service advisors
• Check tire pressure
• Lubricate moving parts with specified lubricants
• Drain oil from crankcase and refill with the required amount of oil
• Add water to radiator and battery
• Replace oil and air filters
• Perform preventative maintenance on all Nissans models
• Receive training on Ford diagnostic equipment
• Train alongside a Ford Master or Senior Technician
• Keep your bay and work area clean and any other duties needed
• Adhere to all company policies, procedures, safety standards and codes of conduct
• Follow dealership safety procedures to avoid exposure to fumes, dirt, and harsh chemicals

Qualifications

Ability to learn, apply and comprehend instructions from Management and Technicians.

Education and/or Experience

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Language Skills

• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.

Reasoning Ability

• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one or two step instructions.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
