Job summary

Minnetonka Public Schools seeks a Quest Instructor to plan, implement, and supervise a theme-based summer day camp for middle school students at the Minnetonka Community Education Center (MCEC). This role runs June 16, 2026 through August 19, 2026, with 30–40 hours per week within 7:30 AM–5:30 PM shifts.

Starting wage is $19.57/hr. You will help plan curriculum for ten one-week programs, lead activities, supervise field trips, and maintain a safe and engaging environment while upholding

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in education, child development, recreation, or related field.
• Experience working with middle school students.
• Evidence of successful program leadership.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to relate well to children and adults.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and maintain confidentiality.

Job Qualifications

1. B.A. or B.S. degree in education, child development, recreation, or a related field.
2. Evidence of successful experience working with middle school aged students.
3. Evidence of successful program leadership.
4. Evidence of positive interpersonal skills; ability to relate well to children and adults.
5. Ability to work under minimal supervision.
6. Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality.
