Job summary

Four Seasons Hotel Silicon Valley is currently looking for an Expeditor at Quattro Restaurant to support kitchen operations and ensure accurate, timely service. You will coordinate with servers, check orders, assist in food running, and help maintain standards for allergies and special requests.

The role offers competitive hourly pay, medical/dental/vision, 401k with company match, complimentary stays, meals, dry cleaning and free employee parking.

Qualifications

• General food knowledge is required.
• Candidates must have good personal presentation and interpersonal skills.
• Must be flexible with schedule; able to work weekdays, weekends, holidays, and evenings.
• Requires reading, writing and oral proficiency in English.

Responsibilities

• Assist in timing and organizing food orders at the kitchen line.
• Assist in food running/serving.
• Ensure accuracy of orders with attention to details, allergies, and special requests.
• Effectively communicate with servers.
• Assist the server in clearing and resetting tables per restaurant standards.
• Polish silverware, refill condiments and crumb tables as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

The Opportunity:

Four Seasons Hotel Silicon Valley is currently looking for an Expeditor at Quattro Restaurant.

Essential function of the job:

• Assist in timing and organizing food orders at the kitchen line
• Assist in food running/serving
• Ensure accuracy of orders with strong attention to details, allergies, and special requests
• Effectively communicate with Servers
• Assist the Server in clearing and resetting the tables according to the restaurant standards
• Perform side work such as polishing silverware, refilling the condiment containers and crumbing the tables as needed
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications and Skills:

• This position requires an applicant with general food knowledge. Candidates must have good personal presentation and interpersonal skills
• Must be flexible with schedule – Able to work weekdays, weekends, holidays, and evenings
• Requires reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English language
• Ability to carry and balance a tray
• Must provide work authorization document - proof of eligibility to work in the United States of America
