Dal-Tile, a subsidiary of Mohawk Industries, invites applications for a Mold Line Operator on nights (H shift). This role is based at our Tennessee plant and supports safe, efficient line operation in a high-volume manufacturing environment.

You will follow the Quality Management System (QMS), load materials, perform quality checks, document outputs, and help maintain a clean, organized workspace while contributing to continuous improvement.

Competenze

• Ensures safe and efficient operation of all assigned equipment.
• Follows the Quality Management System (QMS).
• Stocks lines/machines with needed materials.
• Transports, weighs, and mixes appropriate ingredients.
• Load/unload machines.

Mansioni

• Creates samples and performs quality control checks.
• Monitors equipment or processes and reports problems to supervisor.
• Maintains accurate documentation/records for safety, quality, and productivity.
• Follows SOPs, 5S, and lean manufacturing principles.
• Keeps area safe, clean and organized.
• Supports learning and helps develop other team members.
• Willing to cross department lines and assist as needed.

MOLD LINE OPERATOR- F SHIFT

HOURS: 6:45PM - 7AM (2-2-3)

Job Functions:

• Ensures safe and efficient operation of all assigned equipment
• Follows the Quality Management System (QMS)
• Stocks lines/machines with needed materials
• Transports, weighs, and mixes appropriate ingredients
• Load/ unload machines
• Performs periodic checks on output
• Creates samples and performs quality control checks
• Monitors equipment or processes and reports problems to supervisor including safety, quality, productivity, and systems-related issues
• Maintains accurate documentation/ records relative to safety, quality, and productivity for assigned area
• Follows standard operating procedures, safe operating practices, 5S, standard work and other lean manufacturing principles
• Keeps area safe, clean and organized
• Supports a life-long learning environment, enhancing own skills as well as assisting in the development of other team members
• Must be willing to cross department lines and help the team where needed
• Performs other related duties as required
