Job summary

Dal-Tile, a subsidiary of Mohawk Industries, is seeking a MOLD LINE OPERATOR for the B shift (nights) to support a 6:45PM–7:00AM schedule. The role focuses on safe, efficient operation of mold equipment, quality control, and lean process adherence within a fast-paced tile production environment.

You will stock lines, monitor processes, document results, and collaborate across teams to ensure safety and quality. Competitive pay and comprehensive benefits accompany this opportunity.

Qualifications

• Experience operating or overseeing manufacturing equipment.
• Ability to follow QMS and lean principles.
• Willingness to work nights and shifts.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment safely and efficiently.
• Follow Quality Management System (QMS).
• Stock lines/machines with materials as needed.
• Transport, weigh, and mix ingredients per recipe.
• Load and unload machines.
• Perform periodic output checks and maintain records.
• Create samples and perform quality checks.
• Report safety, quality, productivity issues to supervisor.
• Maintain clean, organized work area and follow lean practices.

MOLD LINE OPERATOR- F SHIFT

HOURS: 6:45PM - 7AM (2-2-3)

Job Functions:

• Ensures safe and efficient operation of all assigned equipment
• Follows the Quality Management System (QMS)
• Stocks lines/machines with needed materials
• Transports, weighs, and mixes appropriate ingredients
• Load/ unload machines
• Performs periodic checks on output
• Creates samples and performs quality control checks
• Monitors equipment or processes and reports problems to supervisor including safety, quality, productivity, and systems-related issues
• Maintains accurate documentation/ records relative to safety, quality, and productivity for assigned area
• Follows standard operating procedures, safe operating practices, 5S, standard work and other lean manufacturing principles
• Keeps area safe, clean and organized
• Supports a life-long learning environment, enhancing own skills as well as assisting in the development of other team members
• Must be willing to cross department lines and help the team where needed
• Performs other related duties as required
