Job summary

Tosoh Quartz, Inc. in Portland, OR is seeking a Manufacturing Technician to assist in producing quartz components. You will work with a range of tools and equipment, perform quality checks, and follow detailed process documents.

The role requires handling chemicals up to 80% of the shift and strict adherence to safety protocols. The shift is 6:00 am to 2:30 pm. Candidates should have a high school diploma, the ability to lift up to 60 lbs (120 lbs with assistance), and aptitude for reading

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to accurately follow instructions.
• Able to lift and extend with arms up to 60 lbs independently, or 120 lbs with assistance.
• Aptitude for learning blueprints, machine mathematics, and precision measurement equipment.
• Willing to wear required PPE during shift.

Responsibilities

• Cut glass to required lengths and perform beveling, slots, or features.
• Produce and inspect in-process products for quality and adherence to specs.
• Follow process procedures, work orders, drawings, and production docs.
• Perform detail work such as waxing, dewaxing, and acid wash; cosmetic inspection.
