Job summary

Tosoh Quartz, Inc. in Portland, OR seeks a Manufacturing Technician I for a clean room environment. You will cut glass, inspect in-process parts, and follow detailed work instructions while maintaining a safe, organized workspace.

This role involves handling chemicals up to 50% of the shift, wearing PPE, and performing routine machine maintenance. High school diploma required; ability to read blueprints and precision measurement tools is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions.
• Able to lift up to 60 lbs, or 120 lbs with assistance.
• Willingness to wear PPE and safety gear.

Responsibilities

• Cut glass to required lengths and perform bevels, slots or features.
• Produce and inspect in-process parts for quality and adherence to specifications.
• Follow process procedures, work orders, drawings and other production documents.
• Perform detail work such as waxing, dewaxing, chamfering, acid wash or cleaning.
• Maintain equipment and keep a safe, organized work area.
• Wear PPE and follow safety protocols.
