Job summary

Walbec Group in Wisconsin is seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator to support quarry operations, producing aggregate and construction materials. You will operate the processing plant, loaders, and supporting equipment, while helping with stockpiling and load-out of finished product.

Qualifications

• Operate equipment safely and productively.
• Perform routine maintenance and inspections of mobile equipment.
• Communicate plant site issues with Foreman and Mine Management while performing daily inspections of the plant site.
• Assist in plant maintenance and repairs including labor work, cutting, fabricating and welding.
• Follow proper safety procedures, including incident reporting.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy machinery (loaders, crushers, screens) to feed processing plants.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work site and assist in stockpile/load-out of finished product.
• Support maintenance and repairs on equipment as needed and participate in safety drills.
