Job summary

Walbec Group is seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator to join our quarry operations in Wisconsin. This role involves operating the processing plant, crushers, screens, wash-plants, and loaders to feed the production line and support stockpile/load-out of finished material.

Responsibilities include routine equipment maintenance, daily site inspections, and maintaining a clean work area. Strong emphasis on safety and communication with Foreman and Mine Management is required.

Qualifications

• Operate heavy equipment in a safe and productive manner.
• Perform routine maintenance and inspections of mobile equipment.
• Communicate plant site issues with the foreman and mine management.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work site including shoveling and skid steer operation.
• Assist in plant maintenance and repairs including labor work, cutting, fabricating and welding.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment in quarry operations to feed the processing plant.
• Assist in stockpile and load-out of finished product.
• Follow safety procedures and incident reporting protocols.
• Support in plant maintenance, repairs, and general labor tasks as needed.
• Collaborate with the Foreman on daily operations and site coordination.
